Gae Aulenti designed the lampe Pipistrello in 1965, then Martinelli Luce carried it out and still manufactures it.
It is a table lamp as well as a floor lamp, whose height is adjustable, characterized by its elusive form with a conical base which develops upwards by widening in the ribbing of the diffuser, like the unfolding of the wings of a bat.

Martinelli Luce has been producing Pipistrello for 50 years and today it is still an icon
of the Italian design.
